Your First Time at a Shooting Range

We believe the Morr experience can benefit everyone. Shooting is not just a hobby for an exclusive club, but a craft to be enjoyed by all. You’ll love how your excitement comes to life when you experience the sounds and sensations; the rush of safe shooting. At Morr, we have an enthusiastic, encouraging coaching staff to help everyone feel a high degree of enjoyment that’s unique to firearms sporting.

If this is your very first time at a shooting range, there are a few things you’ll want to know. There are two ways to get started. You can come without an appointment and one of our friendly trained staff will walk you through the steps to get started. You can also register right here on our site reserving range time and individual instruction.

From here, you have two options

Guided Shooting Experience

Our one-on-one, guided shooting experience is a comfortable, safe introduction to shooting sports. As a first time shooter, you will be paired with a friendly, experienced guide who will show you everything you need to know about safely using a firearm.

Classes and Training

Our classes offer an opportunity to learn about shooting with other people who are just getting started. Our instructors have been trained to provide groups with a safe, fun learing experience.

“My first time at Morr Indoor Range was so much fun!”

Sales associates went above and beyond to help my husband and I. The shooting range is awesome. Staff is super friendly. We look forward to spending time at the range. – Eron Gager

Learn Morr

What to Expect

Morr Range and Training Facility is a full service firearms training, shooting and retail center with a highly trained, friendly and helpful staff. We know that people of all experience and comfort levels will walk through our doors every day wanting to learn and have fun. So in the spirit of respect for that diversity, here are a few things to keep in mind for your visit.

We treat everyone with equal attention and care. If you are afraid your lack of experience will put you at the back of the line or disqualify you from participation, think again! We want you to feel at home because when you are comfortable, you’ll be more confident and you’ll more quickly acclimate yourself to the incredibly invigorating craft of sport shooting.
We are all students of the sport and discipline of firearms. The moment we become overconfident, thinking we know it all, we run the risk of inadvertently behaving in unsafe ways. Morr is committed to providing continuing education for both its staff and consumers alike. This is part of ensuring an enjoyable environment and experience.
Safety is of the utmost importance. We are committed to providing a safe environment. The best way to be safe is to review our range rules and ask questions. You’ve heard the old carpenter’s axiom, “measure twice, cut once”, well the same is true of firearms safety and training. It’s better to ask twice to be sure you understand safe practices for using a gun. We are happy to answer all of your questions!
